Kuttawa First Baptist Church

Music when part of worship comes from within and flows out praise and lifts up the name of Jesus. Whether we sing, play, listen; however we participate, music is very important. Throughout the Bible, we see how music plays an vital role in the overall worship of our Savior.

There is nothing wrong with musical entertainment, but there is something special about worshiping through music. It is connecting to God in a very unique way. And, it does not just have to be done corporately. In our private times with God, music can open our hearts to hear and see things we never thought possible.

Music sparks creativity and spontaneity. It can take us places we have never been before.

As we think about our worship to God, I challenge all of us to ask HIM  to show us how we can use music even more to draw closer to Christ                                                                                                                       Blessings: Bill

Music speaks to us in ways nothing else can. It is a very important part of what we do here at Kuttawa First Baptist Church.

Our worship services have a multi-generational musical format incorporating some of today's popular worship songs and choruses, great hymns of the church, as well as bluegrass, gospel and contemporary Christian music. Our main goal is to
provide a worship experience that is honored and led by God. It's not all about style; it's about God !

We also occasionally host concert events featuring local and national artists. We have hosted artists such as The Perrys, The Lesters,  The Kingsmen,  Brooke and Darin Aldridge  and many more.

Our choir meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM. All are welcome to sing. We like to sound "good" but we also like
to have a good time! Most of all, our desire is for people to hear about our love for Jesus in all the songs we sing.

Occasionally, our "JFK" (Just For Kids) group sings or plays. They are a "cool" bunch of kids!

We're blessed to have many talented individuals and families who use their gifts as instrumentalists and vocalists. We encourage people of all ages to get involved and be active.
